My Home India is working to have a brighter India: Hon’ble Vice President Shri Venkaiah Naidu on the occasion of 13th anniversary of My Home India

My Home India celebrated 13 years of its inception on February 26, 2019. With 13 years of relentless service to the nation, My Home India has worked to improve the conditions of people and induce the feeling of brotherhood in the country.

My Home India is a national voluntary organization which was conceptualized and founded in 2005 by Shri Sunil Deodhar, a former RSS Pracharak.

On 26 Feb 2019, the 13th Anniversary celebration was held in the august presence of Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri. M. Venkaiah Naidu Ji at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The Hon’ble Vice President was received by Shri KG Suresh, National Secretary, My Home India, ShriSanoj Kumar, National In-charge, North East Project, My Home India and many others.

After the Hon’ble Vice President ShriVenkaiah Naidu Ji was escorted to the dais, the homage to Pulwama martyrs was paid by observing one minute silence.

The Hon’ble Vice President was presented with a traditional jacket and headgear from Nagaland while mementoes of My Home India was presented to all other dignitaries by Shri Sunil Deodhar.

A short documentary was put showcasing the works and achievements of My Home India. People associated with My Home India shared their experiences of serving the people.

Hon’ble Vice President Shri Venkaiah Naidu on Pulwama Revenge: India has never attacked a country first. The Entire world community must come together to combat terrorism.

The chief guest Hon’ble Vice President Venkaiah Naidu in his speech praised My Home India and congratulated it for completing 13 years in its service to the nation. I am happy to know that they have been working to eliminate other forces of division and has been engaged in activities to create the social, cultural and educational awakening amongst the tribal and backward classes in North East India, applauded the Vice President.

“My purpose for coming here is to interact with youth of the nation and especially North East,” he said.


He mentioned 4 C’s that should be the decisive factors for a person: Character, Calibre, Capacity and Conduct. India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters, he said. Focussing on the terrorism that had taken the lives of 40 CRPF jawans, he said that its high time that world realises the seriousness and the menace of terrorism. The entire world community must come together to combat it”.

He regarded that one should never forget our mother tongue. We should Promote, Practice and propagate our mother tongue.

Keeping North-East India connected to the rest of the world, he said that Connectivity is the key to development. And this was initiated by Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and now transgressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

My Home India Founder Sunil Deodhar thanked the Hon’ble Vice President for gracing the event of the 13th-anniversary celebration of the organization. Praising the diversity of India, he said that Diversity in North East emerged from the motherland India. The organisation My Home India has worked to bring the North Eastern people close to the rest of the people.

Bharat Agarwal, Managing Director, Dainik Bhaskar praised My Home India Founder, Shri Sunil Deodhar by saying that, “There are two types of persons, Thinkers and Doers and Sunil Ji is definitely a Doer, which he proved by founding My Home India.

Ajay Singh, Chairman, Spicejet said that they have worked for the better connectivity of North East with mainland India. SpiceFresh is an initiative of Spice jet to export fruits and vegetables grown in North East across different countries, says Ajay Singh.

We have launched first ever flight to Arunachal Pradesh under Udaan Scheme and connected Pakyong Airport, Sikkim with the mainland India, said the SpiceJet chairman.

Dr Ajeenkya DY Patil, who delivered the words of thanks remembered the sacrifices of our armed forces and praised them saying, “We should never forget about our Armed Forces, They are the best in the world”.
